THE
POWER TO PROVIDE DUST CONTROL FOR THE ELECTRICITY GENERATING INDUSTRY
A recent installation completed by Dust Extraction Limited at a leading
UK power generator, involved the use of their Dust ‘X’ ‘CV’
pulse jet tubular bagged filter units. The installation required two of
their model CV 10x19 ‘3XL’ filters, with each unit being fitted
with 2 x 22 kW integral fan sets.
CHEMICAL
CLEANING
Dust Extraction has completed the design, manufacture and installation
of a centralised vacuum cleaning system for an international chemical
producer in Warrington, Cheshire.
The system comprising eight hose connection points located throughout
a multi floor processing plant interconnected with a pipe work system
which is connected back to a filter separator and exhauster unit located
at ground level.

CLEANING SYSTEM
Dust Extraction has designed and installed a new Centralised Vacuum Cleaning
(CVC) System for a brewery based in Glasgow, replacing an old ineffective
system.

DUST EXTRACTION FACILITIES FOR FOOD PROCESSING PLANT
Dust Extraction Limited has recently completed a dust extraction installation
for a West Yorkshire based food production company. The project was to
replace a number of competitor's old units with new and more efficient
models, which met current LEV, COSHH and Health & Safety standards
and the ATEX Directive.

PASTRY & FLOUR
Market leaders Dust Extraction Limited completed the design and installation
of a Centralised Vacuum Cleaning System for a food processing company
in Northumberland.
The system, which serves pastry case processing and packing lines, allows
8 operators to use it simultaneously removing pieces of raw pastry and
flour from the client's production equipment.
SCOTTISH
NATIONAL LIBRARY PREPARES FOR ALL CONDITIONS WITH SPECIALIST WET &
DRY VACUUM CLEANING SYSTEM
Dust Extraction Limited has completed an installation for The National
Library of Scotland, providing a centralised vacuum cleaning system to
serve the seven floors of historic documents at its Edinburgh Causewayside
site.

VACUUM CLEANING PLANTS FOR HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY
Each system has approximately 20 hose connection points, interconnected
with a fixed pipework system connected back to a filter separator and
exhauster package. The extracted materials are separate from the conveying
air stream within a filter separator which houses a number of tubular
bags with the extracted materials collected within plastic liners located
within a removable bin at the base of the unit. The bins are provided
with a quick release pressure balance system, and are located on castors
and fitted with forklift guides for transportation to the clients waste
material compacting facility.
POWER
STATION CLEAN UP
One recent project carried out for Alstec Systems Technology involved
the company supplying a number of dust extraction filter units together
with a bulk spillage/centralised vacuum cleaning (CVC) plant to provide
dust control management to a new 2 x 660 Mw coal fifed power generation
station in Taiwan at Ho Ping Power Station.
The
total value of Dust Extraction Limited was worth in excess of £500,000
sterling. The CVC plant involved the supply of one of their LT2725WD product
handling tanker vehicles that had the facility of handling both wet and
dry products and several sets of pipework systems for installation within
nine satellite areas of the plant.
DRIVING
SUCCESS
Earlier this year Dust Extraction Limited completed the design and installation
of a Centralised Vacuum Cleaning System for Jaguar Cars Limited at their
Coventry plant.
The
system serves their Operations and Press shops where veneer for their
car interiors is processed for their prestige models Xl00, X202, X350
and X400. The system enables the operators to ensure their workstations
and process equipment are clean and therefore maintain the integrity of
the product being manufactured.

CLEANS AND CONVEYS
A recent installation by Dust Extraction Limited at Alcans’ European
Primary Metal Plant at Lynemouth Smelter, involved the use of their Dust
‘X’ ‘CV’ pulse jet tubular bagged filter units.
The installation required two of their 12 wide units, one being a model
CV 12x32 ‘3XL’ with a 75 kw floor mounted fan set and the
other a model CV 12x16 ‘3XL’ connected to a 37 kw floor mounted
fan set.
